In the past month the steam generating
installation in the papermill UPM Schon-
gau was successfully transferred to the
customer.

ARZ V90
oxygen plus
were installed at
2 x double flame tube boilers ZFR of the
Bosch Industriekessel GmbH.
The special feature of this installation are
besides the total steam output of 100 to
steam/h in combination with the thigh
control ratio of the burners and especially
low NO
X
emissions, particularly the quick
start characteristics of the complete in-
stallation.
In less than 120 sec. from the start signal,
both burners are ready with 100 % com-
bustion capacity. This is possible through
special adjustments of the combustion
manager ETAMATIC OEM by Lamtec,
using the quick start options according
to EN 676 without prepurge.
All components of the installation, as for
example supply air and flue gas dampers,
load control and steam control valves, are
dimensioned to highest reaction rates.
Due to these very quick reaction times it
is now possible at a failure to produce the
steam generation within no time by these
two shell boilers. By this a safe operation
of the papermill is always guaranteed for
UPM.
