Rondo Ganahl AG is a traditional Austri-

to report on this ambitious project.
After intensive preliminary planning
and preparation the firm Integral Mon-
tage GmbH was awarded the contract
for the reestablishment of a high effi-
ciency steam generation plant. A double
fire-tube boiler of the type ZFR28000
of the firm Bosch Industriekessel
GmbH employing a gas and dual-fuel
burner
marathon
®
M 10001.2 and MC
10001.2 from dreizler
®
was installed.
A key aspect of efficient energy trans-
formation lay in the high reaction speed
and the outstandingly low NO
x
proper-
ties of the burners as well as the maxi-
mum utilisation of the natural gas fuel.
Using combustion air pre-warmed to
75°C, four DUObloc burners
marathon
®
M 10001.2 with O
2
- and CO regulation
oxygenplus
were employed. In addition,
during times of varying steam demand,
the high regulation ratio (1:10) of the
burner in gas operation insure optimal
dreizler
®
exhibiting at:
the Vienna Trade Fair, Hall A, Stand A0435.
operation of the steam boiler. The NO
x
emissions lie consistently below 90 mg/
kWh during gas operation and below 150
mg/kWh using extra light heating oil.
